Not professional advice

Nothing on PropRef is legal, financial, valuation, architectural, or engineering advice. It's a curated index of official government resources with plain-English explainers attached, meant to help you find the right portal or document faster — not to replace a certified valuer, a licensed architect, a chartered engineer, or direct confirmation with the issuing government authority. Always verify anything time-sensitive or financially material (guideline values, rates, rules, deadlines) directly with the relevant department before acting on it.

We link to official sources — we don't host or control them

Every resource card on this site links to what we've verified as an official government portal, PDF, or authority website. We don't reproduce, host, or modify that content ourselves. Government departments change URLs, redesign portals, and update rates, rules, and maps without notice — a link that was correct when published can go stale. Where we're aware a link may need re-confirming, we say so on the page rather than presenting it as certain.

We do not knowingly link to a private, unofficial, or third-party site while presenting it as a government source. If a category has no genuine public government portal, we mark it "Not applicable" or explain the gap plainly, rather than substitute an unofficial link or a guess.

No government affiliation

PropRef is an independent, ad-supported reference site. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of any Indian government department, municipal authority, development authority, or regulatory body (including but not limited to CMDA, DTCP, CPWD, any state PWD, any RERA, or any Registration Department). Where a state or city name appears on this site, it refers to the geography the linked resource covers — not an endorsement by that government.

No liability for third-party content or decisions made using this site

Use at your own discretion. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PropRef and its operator accept no liability for any loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from: (a) reliance on information found on a linked government website, (b) a broken, outdated, or redirected link, (c) errors or omissions in our summaries or explainers, or (d) any decision — financial, legal, or otherwise — made on the basis of content on this site. You are responsible for independently verifying anything before relying on it.

No cost, no login, no data sold

PropRef is free to use and doesn't require sign-up. The site is supported by advertising, not by selling user data or by referral fees from the government portals it links to. We have no financial relationship with any valuer, brokerage, or construction firm, and nothing on this site is a paid placement.

Found a dead link, an outdated document, or a page that no longer matches what's described here? Email propref.in@gmail.com with the page and the resource name, and we'll review and fix it. This is genuinely useful to us — please flag it rather than assume we already know.
