Read this before clicking anything below: Delhi does not have one unified land-records system the way most states do. Land here is controlled by three separate bodies — the Delhi (GNCTD) Revenue Department, the DDA (Delhi Development Authority), and L&DO (Land & Development Office), which is a central government body under the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, not a Delhi government department. Which one is relevant to a given plot depends entirely on who administers that land. There is no single "Patta" equivalent — we've split that row into three below rather than force a false match.

MPD-2021 (notified 2007) is the currently operative law. MPD-2041 is still an unnotified draft as of 2026 — roughly 33,000 public objections remain with the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs. Don't assume MPD-2041 already governs anything on the ground.

DSIIDC is Delhi's single consolidated agency for industrial land development and allotment (Bawana, Narela, Baprola and others) — unlike Tamil Nadu's separate large-estate/small-estate split, one agency covers all of it here.

Three things about Delhi's governance that don't map onto Tamil Nadu's structure.
NDMC is a separate municipal body governing the New Delhi/Lutyens' core, distinct from the MCD, which governs the rest of the city — Delhi has at least two parallel municipal authorities inside one urban area, unlike TN's one-per-city model.
L&DO also runs a paid property-certificate/verification tool known as the e-Dharti Geoportal, covering roughly 60,000 L&DO leasehold properties. We couldn't confirm its exact subdomain URL this round, so rather than publish a guessed link, we're pointing you to L&DO's own site (ldo.gov.in) — navigate to e-Dharti from there.
A Delhi Cantonment Board, administered by the Ministry of Defence, reportedly has its own separate building rules for its area. This has not been independently verified — flagging it honestly as an open item for a future pass, not as a confirmed fact.
